A Skill is a folder of instructions, templates and examples that your assistant loads when a task calls for it. Instead of re-explaining how you want follow-ups, meeting recaps or release notes written, you install the Skill once and ask in plain words.
Every GetKits Skill is built for one job and comes with a before and after demo, so you can see the output before you install.
- What is an AI Skill?
- An AI Skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file plus reference files, templates and examples. It teaches an assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor to do one job the same way every time.
- Where do I install a Skill?
- Download the zip from your library. In ChatGPT, go to Skills, choose Create and upload it. In Claude, upload it under Settings > Capabilities > Skills. In Codex or Cursor, unzip it into your project's skills folder. Each kit page has the exact steps.
- Do Skills work in ChatGPT?
- Yes. ChatGPT supports skills: upload the zip under Skills > Create > Upload from your computer, then mention it with @ or just describe the task. The same zip works in Claude, Codex and Cursor.
