Seller guidelines
Fees, pricing, and what we look for when reviewing a kit.
How selling works
- Create a seller profile and a kit in your dashboard.
- Submit it for review. An admin checks it, usually within a few days.
- After approval, pay the one-time listing fee to publish. It is charged once per kit, applies to free kits too, and is not charged again when an edit goes back through review. A bundle counts as one kit.
- Connect Stripe to receive payouts. You keep 70% of every sale; GetKits keeps 30% to cover payments, hosting and support.
Pricing
The minimum price for a paid kit is $2. As a guide, single Skills, Bots and Dots sell well between $9 and $29, and job suites between $29 and $49.
What every kit needs
- A clear title, a one-line tagline and a real description.
- At least one before and after demo.
- The platforms and integrations it works with.
- Install instructions someone can follow in under an hour.
- Files in
.zip,.md,.jsonor.txtformat, up to 50 MB each.
What we reject
- Mega prompt packs: hundreds of unrelated prompts in one file. A kit should do one job well.
- Scripts that exfiltrate credentials or run remote code, including anything that sends keys, tokens or personal data elsewhere, or downloads and executes code at install time.
- Content you do not have the rights to sell.
- Kits that do not work as described, or whose demo is misleading.
Reviews and refunds
Buyers can leave one review per kit. Refunds follow our refund policy; a refunded sale also reverses your payout for it.
